Rouessé-Vassé is located about 35 kilometers west-northwest of Le Mans on the Vègre . Rouessé-Vassé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vimarcé in the north, Le Grez in the northeast, Sillé-le-Guillaume in the east and northeast, Rouez in the east and southeast, Parennes in the south, Torcé-Viviers-en-Charnie in the southwest, Voutré in the west and Saint-Georges-sur-Erve in the north-west.
