Vimarcé is a French municipality with 237 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mayenne and the canton of Évron . The inhabitants are called Vimarcéens .
geography
Vimarcé is located about 38 kilometers east-northeast of Laval on the Erve River , which has its source here. The parish is part of the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park . Vimarcé is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Martin-de-Condée in the north, Saint-Pierre-sur-Orthe in the northeast, Le Grez in the east, Rouessé-Vassé in the south and southeast and Saint-Georges-sur-Erve in the west and southwest .
