Martigné-sur-Mayenne is a French commune with 1,853 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement Mayenne and the canton Lassay-les-Châteaux (until 2015: canton Mayenne-Est ). The inhabitants are called Martignéens .

Martigné-sur-Mayenne is located about 19 kilometers north-northeast of Laval city center . The Mayenne delimits the municipality in the northwest. Martigné-sur-Mayenne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Contest in the north and north-west, Commer in the north and north-east, La Bazouge-des-Alleux in the east, Châlons-du-Maine in the south and south-east, Sacé in the south and south-west, and Saint-Germain -d'Anxure to the west and Alexain to the west and northwest.
The national route 162 runs through the municipality .
