geography

Voutré is about 26 kilometers east-northeast of Laval . The Erve flows through the municipality . Voutré is surrounded by the neighboring communities Assé-le-Bérenger in the north, Saint-Georges-sur-Erve in the north and northeast, Vimarcé in the northeast, Rouessé-Vassé in the east, Torcé-Vivers-en-Charnie in the south, and Sainte-Suzanne in the Southwest and Évron in the west and northwest.

The municipality's train station is on the Paris – Brest railway line .
