Mount Fagan is a 930 m high mountain not far from the north coast of South Georgia . It rises 2.2 km west-southwest of the Sarg-Berg and 4.4 km west of the Moltke-Hafen .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the mountain in 1971. It was named after Captain P. F. Fagan of the Royal Engineers , geodesist on the British Combined Services Expedition (1964–1965) and the first to climb this mountain.
