Thubœuf is located about 30 kilometers north-northeast of the city center of Mayenne on the Mayenne , which borders the municipality in the north. It belongs to the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park . Thubœuf is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Rives d'Andaine in the north and northeast, Saint-Julien-du-Terroux in the east, Lassay-les-Châteaux and Sainte-Marie-du-Bois in the south and Rennes-en-Grenouilles in the west.
