Villepail is a French municipality with 177 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Mayenne and the canton of Villaines-la-Juhel . The inhabitants are called Villepaillais .

geography

Villepail is about 33 kilometers northeast of Mayenne and about 30 kilometers west-southwest of Alençon . The parish is part of the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park . Villepail is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Cyr-en-Pail in the north, Pré-en-Pail-Saint-Samson in the east and north-west, Crennes-sur-Fraubée in the south and Javron-les-Chapelles in the west and north-west.
