Lassay-les-Châteaux is a French commune with 2,253 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Mayenne and the canton of Lassay-les-Châteaux . The inhabitants are called Lasséens .

Lassay-les-Châteaux is located about 23 kilometers north-northeast of the city center of Mayenne am Mayenne , which borders the municipality in the north-west. It belongs to the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park .
