Hardanges is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Ribay in the north, Le Ham in the northeast, Loupfougères in the east and southeast, Champgenéteux in the south and southeast, La Chapelle-au-Riboul in the west and southwest and Marcillé-la-Ville in the west and northwest.
