Pré-en-Pail-Saint-Samson is a French commune with 2,331 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mayenne and the canton of Villaines-la-Juhel .
It was created with effect from January 1, 2016 as Commune nouvelle by merging the former municipalities of Saint-Samson and Pré-en-Pail . The former municipalities have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality .
