La Bigottière is a French municipality with 498 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Mayenne and the canton of Ernée (until 2015: canton of Chailland ). The inhabitants are called bigottins .

La Bigottière is about 16 kilometers north of Laval . La Bigottière is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Placé in the north, Alexain in the east, Saint-Germain-d'Anxure in the east and south-east, Andouillé in the south, Saint-Germain-le-Guillaume in the west and Chailland in the west and north-west.
