Menhir du Faix-du-Diable

The menhir Faix du Diable ( German  Teufelswette ) is a menhir in La Bigottière in the Mayenne department in France .

Faix du Diable is also the name of a large stone on a hill 800 meters northeast of Spineux in Belgium .

The Menhir Faix du Diable is located on the D 104 road between Alexain and Andouillé , about 2.5 km southeast of La Bigottière. It's over 4 feet high, 3 feet wide and over a meter thick, and it looks like it's been smoothed.

The megalith has been classified as a Monument historique since 1925 .
