Sainte-Suzanne-et-Chammes is a French commune with 1,280 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mayenne and the canton of Meslay-du-Maine (until 2015: canton of Sainte-Suzanne ). The inhabitants are called Arviens or Suzannais and Camélésiens .
Geographical location
Sainte-Suzanne-et-Chammes is about 40 kilometers west of Le Mans on the Erve . Sainte-Suzanne-et-Chammes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Évron in the north, Voutré in the northeast, Torcé-Viviers-en-Charnie in the east, Blandouet-Saint Jean in the south, Vaiges in the southwest, Saint-Léger in the west and Châtres-la -Forêt in the northwest.

On January 1, 2016, the community was formed as Commune nouvelle from the previously independent communes of Sainte-Suzanne and Chammes .
