The Erve is a river in France that runs in the Pays de la Loire region . It rises on the southern flank of the Coëvrons hills in the municipality of Saint-Martin-de-Connée and flows through the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park in the upper reaches . The Erve generally drains in a southerly direction and flows into the Sarthe as a right tributary after around 71 kilometers in the urban area of Sablé-sur- Sarthe . On her way she crosses the departments of Mayenne and Sarthe .
