Auvers-le-Hamon is a French commune with 1,473 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the region of Pays de la Loire in the Sarthe department in the district of La Flèche in Canton Sable-sur-Sarthe .

Location and transport links

The municipality, which with 47.83 square kilometers is one of the larger municipalities in France, is located southwest of Le Mans at 29 to 93 m above sea level on the banks of the Erve river , near the confluence of its tributary Treulon . The traffic connection is given by the A 81 and the Départementstraße D 24.
