Asnieres-sur-Vègre is a French municipality with 406 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of La Flèche and the canton of Sablé-sur-Sarthe . The inhabitants are called Asnièrois .

Asnières-sur-Vègre is located about 34 kilometers west-southwest of Le Mans on the Vègre . Asnières-sur-Vègre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Poillé-sur-Vègre in the north and north-west, Fontenay-sur-Vègre in the north, Tassé in the east and north-east, Avoise in the south, Juigné-sur-Sarthe in the west and south-west and Auvers- le-Hamon to the west.
