Yvré-le-Pôlin is a French commune with 1,768 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement La Flèche and the canton Le Lude (until 2015: canton Pontvallain ). The inhabitants are called Paulinais .
geography
Yvré-le-Pôlin is about 21 kilometers south-southwest of Le Mans . Yvré-le-Pôlin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Guécélard in the north and north-west, Moncé-en-Belin in the north and north-east, Saint-Gervais-en-Belin in the north-east, Saint-Ouen-en-Belin in the east, Château-l ' Hermitage in the southeast, Requeil in the south, Oizé in the southwest, Cérans-Foulletourte in the west and Parigné-le-Pôlin in the west and northwest.
