La Fontaine-Saint-Martin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cérans-Foulletourte in the north, Oizé in the east, Saint-Jean-de-la-Motte in the south, Ligron in the south-west, Courcelles-la-Forêt in the west and Mézeray in the north-west.
