Requeil is a French commune with 1,184 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Sarthe department in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement La Flèche and the canton Le Lude (until 2015: canton Pontvallain ). The residents call themselves Requeillois .
geography
Requeil is about 25 kilometers south of Le Mans . Requeil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Yvré-le-Pôlin in the north, Château-l'Hermitage in the east and northeast, Pontvallain in the east and southeast, Mansigné in the south and southwest and Oizé in the west.
