Joué-en-Charnie is a French municipality with 654 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of La Flèche and the canton of Loué . The inhabitants are called Jouésiens .
geography
Joué-en-Charnie is about 29 kilometers west of Le Mans . Joué-en-Charnie is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chemiré-en-Charnie in the north, Épineu-le-Chevreuil in the northeast, Chassillé in the east, Loué in the east and southeast, Mareil-en-Champagne in the south, Brûlon in the southwest and Saint- Denis-d'Orques to the west and north-west.
The A81 autoroute runs through the municipality.
