Maigné is a French municipality with 353 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement La Flèche and the canton Loué (until 2015: canton Brûlon ). The inhabitants are called Maignénois .

Maigné is about 24 kilometers west-southwest of Le Mans . Maigné is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vallon-sur-Gée in the north and west, Crannes-en-Champagne in the north and north-east, Chemiré-le-Gaudin in the east, Fercé-sur-Sarthe in the south-east and Pirmil in the south and south-west.
