Cérans-Foulletourte is a French municipality with 3375 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of La Flèche and the canton of Le Lude . The inhabitants are called Céranais and Foulletourtois .
geography
Cérans-Foulletourte is located about 25 kilometers southwest of Le Mans on the Fessard River . Cérans-Foulletourte is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Roézé-sur-Sarthe in the north, Parigné-le-Pôlin in the northeast, Yvré-le-Pôlin in the east, Oizé in the southeast, La Fontaine-Saint-Martin in the south, Mézeray in the west and La Suze-sur-Sarthe in the north-west.
The former route nationale 23 (today's D323) runs through the municipality .
