Château-l'Hermitage is a French municipality with 254 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Sarthe department in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement La Flèche and the canton Le Lude (until 2015: canton Pontvallain ). The residents call themselves Castéliens .

geography

Château-l'Hermitage is about 22 kilometers south of Le Mans . Château-l'Hermitage is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Ouen-en-Belin in the north, Saint-Biez-en-Belin in the north-east, Pontvallain in the south and east, Requeil in the south-west and Yvré-le-Pôlin in the north-west.
