Avoise is a French municipality with 612 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of La Flèche and the canton of Sablé-sur-Sarthe . The inhabitants are called Avoisiens .
geography
Avoise is about 38 kilometers southwest of Le Mans . Here the Vègre flows into the Sarthe River , which forms the southern municipal boundary. Avoise is surrounded by the neighboring communities Asnières-sur-Vègre in the north, Tassé in the northeast, Noyen-sur-Sarthe in the east, Dureil in the east and southeast, Parcé-sur-Sarthe in the south, Solesmes in the southwest and Juigné-sur-Sarthe in the West.
