Saint-Denis-d'Orques is about 35 kilometers west of Le Mans . Saint-Denis-d'Orques is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Blandouet in the north and northwest, Torcé-Viviers-en-Charnie in the north, Chemiré-en-Charnie in the northeast, Joué-en-Charnie in the east, Brûlon in the southeast, Avessé and Vire-en-Champagne in the south, Thorigné-en-Charnie in the west and south-west and Saint-Jean-sur-Erve in the west.
The A81 autoroute and the former national route 157 (today's D357) run through the municipality .
