Blandouet is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Blandouet-Saint Jean with 188 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire .
The municipality of Blandouet merged with Saint-Jean-sur-Erve on January 1, 2017 to form the Commune nouvelle Blandouet-Saint Jean. It belonged to the Arrondissement of Laval and the Canton of Sainte-Suzanne .
geography
Blandouet is located around 20 kilometers west of Le Mans on the border with the neighboring Sarthe department . The place is on the upper reaches of the Treulon River .
Neighboring municipalities of the municipality of Blandouet were Torcé-Viviers-en-Charnie in the north-east, Saint-Denis-d'Orques in the south-east, Saint-Jean-sur-Erve in the south-west, Chammes in the west and Sainte-Suzanne in the north-west.
