Beaumont-sur-Dême is a French municipality with 331 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Sarthe department in the region of Pays de la Loire . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of La Flèche and the canton of Château-du-Loir (until 2015: canton of La Chartre-sur-le-Loir ). The inhabitants are called Beaumontais .

Until 1955 the community was still called Beaumont-la-Chartre .

geography

Beaumont-sur-Dême is about 44 kilometers southeast of Le Mans . Beaumont-sur-Dême is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Chartre-sur-le-Loir in the north, Villedieu-le-Château in the north-east, Épeigné-sur-Dême in the south and east, Dissay-sur-Courcillon in the west and south-west and Marçon in the West.
