Mareil-en-Champagne is a French municipality with 382 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement La Flèche and the canton Loué (until 2015: canton Brûlon ). The inhabitants are called Mareillains .
geography
Mareil-en-Champagne is about 26 kilometers west of Le Mans on the Vègre . Mareil-en-Champagne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Joué-en-Charnie in the north, Loué in the east and northeast, Saint-Christophe-en-Champagne in the southeast, Saint-Ouen-en-Champagne in the south and Brûlon in the west.
