European Taekwondo Championships 1994
The 1994 Taekwondo European Championships took place from October 28th to 30th, 1994 in Zagreb , Croatia . The title fights were organized by the European Taekwondo Union (ETU). A total of 16 competitions took place, eight each for women and men in different weight classes.
The most successful nation by far was Spain , which won seven golds, one silver and two bronze medals. This was followed by Greece , whose starters won gold twice, and Turkey with one gold and four silver. Among the German fighters, Aydin Ates was European champion in the class up to 54 kilograms. They also won five bronze medals.
