Taekwondo European Championships 1982

The 1982 European Taekwondo Championships were held from September 23-27, 1982 in Rome , Italy . The title fights were organized by the European Taekwondo Union (ETU). A total of 18 competitions took place, eight of them for women and ten for men in different weight classes.

The most successful nation was the Federal Republic of Germany with five gold, four silver and six bronze medals. Spain followed in second place with four gold, two silver and three bronze medals, followed by the Netherlands with three gold and silver medals each and four bronze medals. Austrian fighters won three bronze medals.
