Taekwondo European Championships 1980
The 1980 European Taekwondo Championships took place from October 14th to 17th, 1980 in Copenhagen , Denmark . The title fights were organized by the European Taekwondo Union (ETU). A total of 17 competitions took place, seven of which were for women and ten for men in different weight classes. For the first time, European championships for women took place.
With seven European championship titles as well as two silver and three bronze medals, the Federal Republic of Germany was the most successful nation. Italy and the Netherlands followed in the places .
