Madré is a French municipality with 293 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Mayenne and the canton of Villaines-la-Juhel (until 2015: canton of Couptrain ). The inhabitants are called Madréens .

geography

Madré is about 37 kilometers northeast of Mayenne . The Mayenne River limits the municipality to the north. Madré is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Méhoudin in the north, Saint-Ouen-le-Brisoult in the north and northeast, Neuilly-le-Vendin in the east and northeast, Javron-les-Chapelles in the south and southeast, Chevaigné-du-Maine in the south and Southwest and Saint-Julien-du-Terroux to the west and northwest.
