Chalons-du-Maine is a French municipality with 708 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Laval and the canton Bonchamp-lès-Laval (until 2015: Canton Argentré ). The inhabitants are called Châlonnais .

Châlons-du-Maine is about 14 kilometers northeast of Laval . Châlons-du-Maine is surrounded by the neighboring communities Martigné-sur-Mayenne in the north, La Bazouge-des-Alleux in the north-east, Gesnes in the east, Saint-Céneré in the south-east, La Chapelle-Anthenaise in the south and Sacé in the west and north-west.
