Montigné-le-Brillant is a French municipality with 1277 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Laval and the canton L'Huisserie (until 2015: canton Saint-Berthevin ). The inhabitants are called Montignéens .

geography

Montigné-le-Brillant is about six kilometers south-southeast of the city center of Laval on the Vicoin . Montigné-le-Brillant is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Berthevin in the north, Laval in the northeast, L'Huisserie in the east, Nuillé-sur-Vicoin in the south and southeast, Astillé in the south and southwest and Ahuillé in the west.
