geography

Saint-Jean-sur-Mayenne is about six kilometers north of Laval on the Mayenne , into which the Ernée flows here. Saint-Jean-sur-Mayenne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Andouillé in the north and northwest, Montflours in the north and northeast, Sacé in the northeast, Louverné in the east, Changé in the south and Saint-Germain-le-Fouilloux in the west.
