La Gravelle is about 20 kilometers west of Laval . La Gravelle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Pierre-la-Cour in the north, La Brûlatte in the east and north-east, Loiron-Ruillé in the east and south-east, Saint-Cyr-le-Gravelais in the south, Le Pertre in the west and south-west and Bréal -sous-vitré to the west and north-west.

Here the national route 157 merges into the A81 autoroute .
