Saint-Berthevin is a French municipality with 7344 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Gontier and is the main town ( chef-lieu ) of the canton of Saint-Berthevin . The inhabitants are called Berthevinois .
geography
The Vicoin flows through Saint-Berthevin . A certain part of the Forêt de Concise forest area is located in the municipality. Saint-Berthevin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Genest-Saint-Isle in the north and northwest, Changé in the north and northeast, Laval in the east and southeast, Montigné-le-Brillant in the south, Ahuillé in the southwest and Loiron-Ruillé in the west.
