The Canton of Argentré was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement Laval , in Mayenne and the region Pays de la Loire ; its main town was Argentré . Michel Ferron ( DVG ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2005 to 2015 .

The canton of Argentré was on average 95 meters above sea level, between 38 meters in Parné-sur-Roc and 152 meters in Châlons-du-Maine.

The canton was in the center of the Mayenne department east of the city of Laval. It bordered the cantons of Laval-Saint-Nicolas, Laval-Nord-Est and Laval-Est in the west, the canton Chailland in the north-west, the canton Mayenne-Est in the north, the canton Montsûrs in the east and the canton Meslay -du-Maine in the south.
