The Sapper Hill is an ice-covered hill in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the northern part of the Surveyors Range, it rises 3 km northeast of Hermitage Peak .
Participants of the campaign carried out from 1960 to 1961 by the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1960-1961) named him after the name of the neighboring Mount Ubique after the nickname The Sappers (English for The Pioneers ) for the Royal Engineers .
