The Hermitage Peak is a 750 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Surveyors Range it rises 6 km north of Mount Ubique .
Participants of the 1960 to 1961 campaign of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1960-1961) named him after the town of Hermitage in Berkshire , home of the Royal School of Military Survey .
