Coulombiers is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Fresnay-sur-Sarthe with 475 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Coulombéens .
On January 1, 2019, the municipality of Coulombiers merged with Saint-Germain-sur-Sarthe and Fresnay-sur-Sarthe to form the Commune nouvelle Fresnay-sur-Sarthe. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Coulombiers belonged to the arrondissement of Mamers and the canton of Sillé-le-Guillaume .
geography
Coulombiers is about 29 kilometers north of Le Mans . The municipality of Coulombiers was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Fyé in the north and northwest, Rouessé-Fontaine in the north and east, Chérancé in the east and southeast, Piacé in the south and southwest and Saint-Germain-sur-Sarthe in the west.
