Mairie Aure

Aure is a French commune with 48 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Vouziers and the canton of Attigny .

geography

Aure is about 55 kilometers east of Reims and about 20 kilometers southwest of Vouziers . The western limit of the commune is the border between the departments of Ardennes and Marne . Access to the municipality is via the D6 départemental road from Manre in the southeast, which runs through the village to the southwest and merges with the D20 in Marne, to Sommepy-Tahure . The D306 runs northeast from the village to Monthois . The community consists entirely of arable land.

The river Ruisseau d'Allin (also called Ruisseau d'Avègres ) has its source near the village and flows southeast to finally reach the Aisne at Brécy-Brières .
