La Sabotterie is a French commune with 112 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Vouziers , the canton of Attigny (until 2015: canton of Tourteron ) and the community association Crêtes Préardennaises .
geography
La Sabotterie is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marquigny in the southeast, Lametz in the south, Suzanne in the southwest, Tourteron in the west, Jonval in the north and the municipality of Chagny in the canton of Nouvion-sur-Meuse in the northeast.
history
La Sabotterie became an independent municipality in 1793 when it was spun off from the Tourteron municipality.
