The municipality is located around 47 kilometers east of Reims . Sugny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Contreuve in the west, Sainte-Marie in the north, Savigny-sur-Aisne in the northeast, Saint-Morel in the east, Mont-Saint-Martin in the south and Semide on a short section in the southwest.
