Christian Ludwig von Sydow

Christian Ludwig von Sydow (born July 6, 1733 in Rohrbeck ; † March 29, 1795 ) was a Prussian district administrator . From 1769 until his death he was in charge of the Arnswald district .

He came from the Brandenburg noble von Sydow family . His father Friedrich Ludwig von Sydow (* 1701; † 1742) was a Prussian district administrator. His mother was Auguste Sophie nee von Waldow .

Christian Ludwig von Sydow joined the Prussian army in 1747 , where he served until 1764. He left with the character of a captain ("Capitain").

In 1769 he was appointed as the successor of the late Hans Christoph Dietloff von der Goltz to the district administrator of the Arnswald district in the Neumark . He remained in office until his death in 1795; his successor as district administrator was Carl Johann Christoph von Dietherdt .

He was married twice, leaving behind a widow and five children.
