The municipality is traversed by the Aisne , which forms part of the northeastern municipality boundary. Brécy-Brières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Challerange in the south and south-west, Saint-Morel in the west, Savigny-sur-Aisne in the north-west, Olizy-Primat in the north and north-east and Mouron in the south-east.
