Chatel-Chéhéry is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Lançon in the west, Cornay in the northwest and north, Fléville in the northeast, Exermont in the east, Apremont in the southeast and south and by the municipality of Binarville in the Marne department in the southwest.
