Charbogne is surrounded by the neighboring communities Écordal in the north, Suzanne in the northeast, Saint-Lambert-et-Mont-de-Jeux in the east, the canton capital Attigny in the south, Givry in the southwest and Alland'Huy-et-Sausseuil in the west. The Saint-Lambert River runs along the eastern municipal boundary .
