Sainte-Marie is a French commune with 80 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Vouziers , the canton of Attigny (until 2016 Vouziers ) and the Argonne Ardennaise municipality .
geography
The municipality is located around 48 kilometers east of Reims . Sainte-Marie is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Savigny-sur-Aisne in the east, Sugny in the south, Contreuve in the southwest, Bourcq in the northwest and the municipality of Vouziers in the north in the canton of the same name .

Until 1828 the municipality was called Sainte-Marie-sous-Bourcq .
