La Berlière is a French commune with 40 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Vouziers , to the canton of Vouziers (until 2015: canton of Buzancy ) and to the community association L'Argonne Ardennaise, founded in 1997 .

La Berlière is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Pierremont in the southeast, Oches in the south, Les Grandes-Armoises in the west, Stonne in the north, La Besace in the northeast and the municipality of Beaumont-en-Argonne in the canton of Carignan in the east.

history

In 1940 the village was 90% destroyed during the western campaign of the German Wehrmacht in World War II.

Attractions
